Today's steps will show us how to disassemble and replace the battery of the Volkswagen Jetta key remote, as well as the Golf. First, let's take our remote and start by removing the plastic back cover of the battery, using something thin and pointed to pry on the sides; then remove the battery inside, as shown in the video. Now, install the new battery, the right type (in this case a CR2032 3V); insert it in the correct direction and then close the remote with the plastic cover!
