Replacing the battery in the key fob for the Volkswagen Jetta is a very simple operation to carry out independently. The first thing to do is extend the metal key by pressing the appropriate top button; using a small screwdriver, in the slot indicated in the video, unlock the rear cover to proceed with extracting the old battery. Once the fob is open, you can replace the battery, which should be a CR2032 type. At this point, simply reverse the process to reassemble the key fob.
