This guide will show you step by step how to correctly replace the engine air filter on your Volkswagen Golf Mk7 (2012-2019). First, turn off the car completely and lift the bonnet. Once done, locate the filter box at the bottom of the engine bay and disconnect the hose attached to it. Next, use a Torx T25 key to remove all the screws around the perimeter of the box and take off the protective cover. Finally, remove the old filter and replace it with the new one.
