The air filter on a Volkswagen Golf model mk7 is located under the front bonnet, specifically on the right side near the air duct and engine. To replace the filter, first unscrew the screws on top of the cover.

Once the cover is removed, you can extract the filter and clean the housing. At this point, insert the new air filter and close the cover before screwing the screws back in. Finally, start the vehicle's engine to ensure the air filter has been installed correctly and is not causing any issues.
