The air filter on a Volkswagen Golf mk7 model is located inside the front hood, specifically the filter is located in the right area near the air tube and the engine. To replace the filter, we must first unscrew the screws located on top of the cover. Once the cover is removed, we can remove the filter and clean the housing. At this point, we insert the new air filter and close the cover before screwing the screws back in. We finish by starting the vehicle's engine to ensure that the air filter has been properly installed and does not present any issues to the car.
