To deactivate the alarm of the Volkswagen Golf, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port: this port is located at the bottom left of the dashboard relative to the steering column. Once the scanner is connected, select the model of the car and the corresponding version: then you can perform all necessary operations to deactivate the alarm.

At this point, check that the alarm has been deactivated by pressing the appropriate button on the remote.
