Contrary to what one might think, replacing the battery of your Volkswagen Golf Mk6 (2008-2012) is a very simple task. Just follow these steps to do it without any difficulties. First, turn off the car and lift the bonnet. Next, locate the battery and disconnect both terminals, starting with the positive one. Once done, unscrew the various screws using an appropriate spanner, and finally, replace the old battery with the new one. All that remains is to reattach the screws and reconnect the two terminals.
