In this video tutorial, we can see how it is possible to replace the air filter on a Volkswagen Golf 5 by following a few simple steps: the first thing we need to do is to purchase a new air filter. The next step is to get into the car, turn off the engine, and engage the handbrake. Pull the hood release lever and lift the engine hood, securing it with the appropriate rod. Now, using a star screwdriver, we need to loosen the fastening screws from the air filter cover, lift the cover of the filter box, unscrew the fastening screws of the air filter cartridge, remove the old filter, cover the intake pipe with a clean cloth, and clean with a compressor to remove any debris inside the box. Remove the cloth from the intake pipe, position the new air filter, and reassemble all the parts in reverse order.
