The battery is located on the left side of the engine bay; first, remove the plastic cover, then disconnect the negative terminal followed by the positive terminal before removing the lower mounting plate. Extract the battery and replace it with the new one, then reattach the lower plate and finally reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative.
