How to change the battery of a Volkswagen Passat key

In this video, we see how to change the battery (CR2032) of the remote control for a eighth series Volkswagen Passat. We start the procedure by pressing the release button of the physical key to remove it from its slot, then, using a small flathead screwdriver, we pry the bottom part of the back cover of the remote control to remove it as shown in the video. Once this is done, using the screwdriver again, we remove the old battery from its slot, then insert a new battery and finally reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
