In this video, we see how to repair the lock cylinder of a Volkswagen Golf IV: using a flat-head screwdriver, we must remove the clip, carefully remove the end, then the spring cover and the spring. We remove the cam, which is usually subject to wear and tear. Replacement kits can be easily found on e-commerce sites, after which we can reassemble the cylinder, putting the spring and spring cover back in place. To compress the spring, we must insert it into the stop groove and compress it with the end, holding it down, rotating it to the end of the spring, and using a fingernail or a small screwdriver for this. While holding it down, we put the cover back in place, fitting it into its slot and, (while still maintaining pressure on the spring) we put the closing clip in place. We can then put the lock back in place.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
