In this video, you will see how to remove the front grille from a Volkswagen Golf VII: first, open the bonnet and locate the two screws that need to be removed to start taking off the front grille. Now, using a screwdriver, leverage the top part of the grille while pulling it towards you and upwards: it’s very easy, as you only need to free the grille from the clips holding it in place. Naturally, the entire grille is made of plastic, so this operation must be done with some force but also with care, to avoid breaking the supports where the grille fits.
