Volkswagen Maggiolino - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Maggiolino MK 1 - Years 1938-1980
Part: Carburetor
Operation: Revision and cleaning of the carburetor of the 1976 Volkswagen Beetle 1200.

The carburetor we are going to work on is a Solex PCT 30 that has been removed from the manifold. We remove the gasket, which we will then replace, and remove the vacuum tube of the spark advance. We disassemble the upper body of the carburetor by unscrewing the 4 screws: we remove the gasket, which we will then replace. Using a 14mm wrench, we remove the fuel flow valve. On the carburetor body, there is a choke, and we need to check if it is functioning; we can do this very simply with some wires, placing the positive on the plug and grounding the negative. The throttle should open. We also remove the choke, also removing the diaphragm that we will replace. When we disassemble the various parts, we set everything aside because we will replace the parts that deteriorate and are part of a kit, while we must keep all the parts that need to be reassembled, perhaps photographing them or noting them carefully. Where possible, we perform functional checks. When we have the carburetor body, we thoroughly clean it and reassemble it, replacing the old and damaged parts. The whole operation is not very simple but possible, you just need to have some dexterity and a calm half hour to do everything.

How to reset the tire pressure warning light on Dacia Sandero?

Let's see below how it is possible to reset the low tire pressure signal on the car: first of all it is necessary to check the correct tire pressure by comparing it with the pressures reported in the use and maintenance manual. After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display. At that point, press the "Ok" control on the steering wheel and keep it pressed to reset the signal.
