First, open the bonnet and disconnect the battery, also removing the distributor cap. Rotate the upper pulley until you align the two marks on the lower pulley: then adjust the distributor valves to the opening recommended by the manufacturer.

By removing the valve cover, adjust them with extreme precision, loosening the screws and using a feeler gauge!
