In this video tutorial, learn how to adjust the valve timing of a Volkswagen Beetle 1200. This operation should be performed every 10,000 miles. First, open the bonnet and disconnect the battery, also removing the distributor cap. Rotate the upper pulley until you align the two marks on the lower pulley: then adjust the distributor valves to the opening recommended by the manufacturer. By removing the valve cover, adjust them with extreme precision, loosening the screws and using a feeler gauge!
