The procedure for replacing the key fob battery in a Volkswagen Atlas is simple and quick. Before you start, make sure you have the correct battery model, which is a flat CR 2032 3V battery, and a small flathead screwdriver. Take the key fob and slide the lever on the top of the casing to extract the metal key inside. At this point, use the tip of the key to pry at the indicated point in the video to open the casing. Once the fob is open, remove the old battery using the screwdriver tip and proceed to replace it.
