In this video, we can see where the fuel pump is located in the Volkswagen Passat and how to proceed in case we need to replace it. As shown, the pump is located inside the cabin, specifically below the rear seat on the left side. To access it and then remove it, we first disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then grasp the seat itself and separate it from the base. Next, we open the large circular cap, disconnect both the power connector and the hose, and unscrew the outer ring. At this point, we can remove the pump and install the replacement.
