Where is the fuel pump located in the Volkswagen Passat?

As shown, the pump is positioned inside the cabin, specifically beneath the rear seat on the left side. To access it and then remove it, first disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then lift the seat and separate it from the base. Next, open the large circular cap, disconnect both the power connector and the pipe, and unscrew the outer ring. At this point, you can extract the pump and fit the replacement.
