In this video we can see where the fuel pump of the Volkswagen Passat is located and how to replace it, which is a very simple operation. As shown, it is located in the rear area of the vehicle, precisely underneath the right seat. To replace it, we first disconnect the negative pole of the battery, then lift the seat and tilt it forward. We then remove the covering carpet, open the large circular cap and disconnect the power connector. At this point, all that remains is to disconnect both fuel hoses, unscrew the outer ring and remove the pump.
