How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen New Beetle

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen New Beetle, press and hold the 0.0/SET button located on the right side of the instrument cluster while it is off. While continuing to hold the button, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. At this point, continue to hold the 0.0/SET button until the reset of the light is completed. After the reset, you can turn off the instrument cluster by turning the key back.
