To replace the front light bulb on a Volkswagen Polo, open the bonnet and then loosen the screws securing the headlamp from the top. Once it is freed from its screws, disconnect the connectors at the back and remove it. Now, open the headlamp by detaching the cover at the back and then pull out the corresponding bulb from inside the headlamp; this allows you to insert the new one, reposition the headlamp in its place, and secure it with the appropriate screws.
