To replace the radio in a Volkswagen Golf, use a tool to pry off the plastic trim surrounding the radio in the centre of the dashboard. Once this trim is removed, you can loosen the screws underneath. This will allow the radio to be pulled out from its housing and disconnect the connectors at the back. Then, insert the new replacement part, connect it, and secure it with the appropriate screws, covering everything with the panel.
