How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Polo

To reset the service light on a Volkswagen Polo, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Press the button next to "0.0" on the odometer until the kilometres reset; then, turn off the ignition, remove the key from the ignition switch, reinsert it, hold down the "0.0" button on the odometer, and simultaneously turn on the ignition. You will notice that the kilometres do not appear next to the wrench icon, then briefly press the left button and turn off the ignition. Remove the key from the ignition switch, reinsert it, turn on the ignition without starting the engine, press the button next to "0.0" until the new kilometres appear next to the wrench icon, turn off the ignition, and the service light is reset.
