Below are the main instructions to remove and replace the steering lock and the indicator stalk on the Volkswagen Golf. First, get in the vehicle and start by removing the steering wheel and its airbag, disconnecting the electrical connector and unscrewing the central screw; then remove the steering angle sensor along with the steering lock, unscrewing the screws found on the sides and disconnecting the electrical connectors of the controls, as illustrated in the video.

At this point, replace the steering lock with the new one, following the video tutorial to the end!
