How to replace the fuel flap on the Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the fuel flap on the Volkswagen Polo, open the flap by applying slight pressure to the left side: this will allow access to the screw that secures the mechanism. By loosening this screw, you can pull the entire mechanism out of its housing, enabling you to replace it with a new one; after replacement, reposition the new part, securing it with the appropriate screws and checking that everything functions correctly.
