Below are the steps to remove and replace the handbrake gaiter on the Volkswagen Golf, following the instructions provided. First, get inside the cabin and start raising the handbrake; then detach the plastic cover located at the base of the handbrake lever and begin to slide the gaiter off, releasing the small plastic clip, as shown in the video. At this point, replace and install the new handbrake gaiter, inserting it correctly and securing it to the base of the lever to lock it in place!
