Reset the service reminder and inspection on a Volkswagen Tiguan.

In this tutorial video, see how to reset the service reminder and inspection on a 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan. First, perform maintenance on the vehicle, such as changing the engine oil and filters. After completing the DIY maintenance, get inside the car, start the vehicle, and you will see the message on the display: "Oil change and inspection now!" Turn off the car and press the button located under the speedometer on the right (0.0/SET), press and hold this button, then when the oil service resets, simply press Ok on the steering wheel. Now, to reset the inspection, turn off the car again and hold the button under the speedometer on the right while turning on the ignition during the inspection; at this point, the display will show the message "Service reset." Reset complete.
