As shown in this tutorial, replacing the rear light bulbs in a Volkswagen Touran is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the key is not inserted, then open the rear hatch and unclip the plastic cover located on the inner edge of the light in question.

Once done, unscrew the three bolts using an Allen key, pull the light towards you, and separate it from the bodywork. At this point, simply disconnect the connector, replace the faulty bulb, and follow the reverse procedure to reassemble everything.
