Instructions for Replacing the Front Speaker

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

To replace the integrated speaker in the front door panel, you must remove the panel; note that the speaker is secured with rivets, so you will need a drill to remove them and a riveter to reattach them; start by removing the panel by unscrewing the screws around the edges and those beneath the handle trim; then disengage the pressure clips along the edges and the lock cable to completely remove it; at this point, disconnect the speaker connector and drill out the rivets to remove it; then fit the new one and secure it with new rivets.
