Replacing Your Car Speakers

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 6, A6 - Years 2010-2018

This guide shows how to correctly replace the speakers in your car. You will first need a drill, screwdrivers, and a multi-tool or wire cutters. After gathering these tools, remove the grilles in front of the speakers. To remove the old speakers, start by using a screwdriver to take out the screws securing the grilles. Once these are removed, use the second tool, the screwdriver, to take out the screws holding the speaker in place. After reaching this point, proceed to cut the speaker's gasket. Once you have done this, disconnect all the wiring from the speakers, being careful to be precise. You can then install the new speakers in the doors.
