How to Replace the Water Pump of the VW Golf

To replace the water pump on the Volkswagen Golf, you need to open the bonnet to locate the pump at the front of the engine. Once the pump is located, remove the front bumper and the upper part of the engine to disconnect the various hoses and connectors. Once it is loosened from its connectors, it can be removed to allow for the installation of a new pump. Insert the new water pump into the housing, then connect it to its hoses and connectors, tighten the nuts, and reassemble the upper part of the engine and the bumper.
