How to Reset the Air Conditioning on the Volkswagen?

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

To reset the air conditioning on the Volkswagen Passat, turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key and turning it. Once the panel is on, use the controls located in the centre of the dashboard. Press and hold the air recirculation button and the ECON button simultaneously to access a secret menu for the air conditioning. From here, you can completely restore the air conditioning settings to their initial state; finally, turn off the panel.
