You can reset the service light on a 2003 Volkswagen Polo without visiting a mechanic or connecting the car to a workshop PC. Insert the key into the ignition and locate the "SET" button on the instrument cluster. Press and hold it, turn the key to the ON position (keeping the engine off), and wait for at least 10 seconds. After this time, release the button, turn it to the right, and turn the key again to switch off the ignition.
