How to Disable Lane Assist on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

To disable Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Tiguan, turn on the ignition by inserting the key into the ignition switch. Once the ignition is on, select the "Settings" option located at the bottom right of the display. Then select "Driver assistance" and scroll down until you find "Lane Assist": under this heading, you will see the word "Active" with a tick. Touch it to remove the tick, thereby disabling Lane Assist.
