How to deactivate the Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Tiguan?

On the Volkswagen Tiguan, to deactivate the Lane Assist, turn on the instrument cluster by inserting the ignition key into the switch. Then, press the button located at the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel to display the relevant menu. When 'Lane Assist' appears, press the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel; this will remove the tick next to the option, and the system will be deactivated. To reactivate it, simply press OK again to display the tick.
