To deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Tiguan, you need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the appropriate slot: once the instrument panel is turned on, you can select the "Settings" option located at the bottom right of the screen. Then you can select the "Driver assistance" option and scroll down until you find the "Lane Assist" option: under this heading you will find the word "Active" with a checkmark. By touching it, you can remove the checkmark, thus deactivating this driving assistance feature.
