To deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Tiguan, turn on the instrument cluster and press the appropriate button located to the right of the steering column: at this point, press the button at the end of the lever on the left of the steering wheel to display a specific menu.

When the 'Lane Assist' option appears, press the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel: this will remove the tick next to the option and the system will be disabled.

To reactivate it, simply press OK again to restore the tick.
