How do you deactivate the Lane Assist of the Volkswagen Tiguan?

The deactivation operation of Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Tiguan can be carried out by turning on the instrument panel, pressing the appropriate button located to the right of the steering column: at this point, you will need to press the button located at the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel, so that a specific menu can be displayed. Then, when the wording "Lane Assist" appears, you will need to press the OK button located on the right spoke of the steering wheel: this will remove the check mark next to the specific wording and the system will be deactivated. To reactivate it, simply press OK again to put the check mark back.
