How to Disable Lane Assist on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

To disable Lane Assist on a Volkswagen Tiguan, turn on the instrument cluster by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot. Once the cluster is activated, select the 'Settings' option located at the bottom right of the display. Then select 'Driver Assistance' and scroll down to find 'Lane Assist': under this heading, you will see 'Active' with a tick. Select it to remove the tick, thereby disabling lane keeping.
