Replacement of Drive Belt

If the drive belt of your car becomes damaged, it needs to be replaced. If you do not intend to visit a mechanic, the following guide shows how to proceed on your own. First, loosen all the screws that secure the cover. At this point, remove the cover and clean any dirt that may have accumulated in the belt housing. You can then extract the belt from both pulleys by spreading the two ends of the pulley with your fingers, sliding the replacement belt between the two halves of the pulley. Slide the belt with your hands until it reaches the bottom of the pulley halves, then pull the free end of the drive belt and fit it onto the drive pulley.
