How to reset the trip meter on the Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

To reset the trip meter on the Volkswagen Polo, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch to turn on the instrument cluster. Once the cluster is on, press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster, just below the speedometer. Hold it for a few seconds to reset the trip meter to zero. After the reset procedure, turn off the cluster by turning the key.
