Here are the brief instructions to remove and replace the window switch panel or switches on the Volkswagen Jetta, as well as the Golf. First, open the front door and start prising the side of the switch panel to detach and remove it; then disconnect the electrical connector located underneath, as shown in the video.

At this point, replace the faulty individual switch if necessary; check its operation before refitting the switch panel by reconnecting it.
