To replace the fuel filler flap on the Volkswagen Golf, open the flap to leverage its inner part and detach the plastic cover. You will also need to open the rear hatch and remove the side trim from the boot to access the screws securing the actuator internally.

Once all screws are loosened, you can slide the actuator out of its housing and insert the new replacement part. Ensure it is properly secured and verify that it functions correctly.
