How to Disable the Passenger Airbag on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

To disable the passenger airbag on a Volkswagen Tiguan, open the front passenger door to locate the side of the dashboard. Here, you will find a lock that allows you to disable the airbag. Use the ignition key to turn it to the OFF position; to reactivate the airbag, simply turn it back to the ON position. Once the airbag has been activated or deactivated, you can remove the key and close the door.
