This video demonstrates how to replace the timing belt on a Volkswagen Polo 5. A 16mm spanner will be required for this procedure. To replace the belt, open the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop.

Then, use the spanner to move the tensioner pulley to loosen the belt for removal. Once the old belt is removed, return the tensioner to its position.

At this point, you can fit the new timing belt following the diagram shown in the video to ensure it functions correctly, and tighten the tensioner using the spanner.
