Air Conditioning Fan Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 6, A6 - Years 2010-2018

Lift the bonnet and remove the bolts securing the air intake duct on the heat exchanger. Next, remove the bolts that secure the fan. Now take off the lower engine cover panel to gain better access for working. Disconnect the connectors and the hose connected to the fan and pull it out from underneath. Now you can replace it, taking care not to damage anything during reinstallation. If necessary, insert a cardboard panel to protect the radiator. Reconnect everything needed and secure the lower cover, then re-bolt everything required on the upper side along with the air intake.
