Removing the Volkswagen Radio

Let's see how to remove the radio from a Volkswagen Golf in case you need to replace it. Use a plastic lever to remove the coin holder and the airbag switch, disconnecting the connector next to the hazard light switch on the central panel. Unscrew the two screws found beneath these housings, allowing you to remove the silver trim and tilt it upwards. Now, unscrew the four screws at the corners of the radio and pull the unit from its slot, disconnecting the electrical connector and the antenna plug. To reinstall, reverse the procedure.
