How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Volkswagen Tiguan

To replace the timing belt on a Volkswagen Tiguan, loosen the bolts securing the front right wheel and the corresponding wheel arch, then remove both components. By opening the bonnet, you will access the left side of the engine block: here you will find the cover panel, under which the timing belt is located. By unscrewing the central nut of the tensioner pulley, you can remove it and reduce the tension on the belt: this will allow you to replace the belt and reassemble all the removed components.
