How to Replace the Window Regulator on a Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the window regulator on a Volkswagen Polo, loosen the screws that secure the door panel to its housing: the fixing screws for the panel are located near the window switch and at the bottom of the panel itself. Once all screws are removed, you can detach the panel and access the underlying window regulator mechanism: this can be removed from its housing by unscrewing the screws that secure it and disconnecting all connectors. At this point, you can insert the new mechanism, securing it and checking that everything works.
