On the Volkswagen Passat, the boot lid may become stuck due to a fault with the actuator or the control button. In these cases, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, open the rear doors, then lower the backrest of the seat and go into the boot area. Next, locate the panel in the lower area, open it by turning the two side locks counterclockwise and lift the inner cover. At this point, you can manually unlock the lock and open the boot lid.

How to change the time on a Toyota Yaris
