To replace the fuel filter on a Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 V6 TDi, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. The fuel filter will be located at the top right of the engine block. Disconnect all hoses connected to it and loosen the screws securing the upper cover.

This will allow you to slide the old filter out of its housing and insert the new one. Finally, remount all previously removed parts.
