How do you reset the tire pressure warning light on the Volkswagen Tiguan?

In order to reset the tire pressure warning light on the Volkswagen Tiguan, you need to inflate the tires to the correct pressure value: this value is indicated on the sticker that is attached to the driver's side door pillar. Once the tires are inflated, you can turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch: this will allow you to access the menu on the central display, selecting "Selection" and then "Vehicle status". Now you can scroll to the "TPMS" option and select "SET" to make the warning light disappear.
