Volkswagen Maggiolino - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Maggiolino MK 1 - Years 1938-1980
Part: Door panel
Operation: Disassembly of the door panel on a Volkswagen Beetle

To remove the door panel on an old Volkswagen Beetle (first model), follow these steps. To start the job, remove the window crank handle by unscrewing the central screw as shown in the video. At this point, you can proceed by removing the plastic of the interior door handle. Use a specific tool (such as a flathead screwdriver or, better, a plastic lever) to extract the door panel: do this slowly and extract a small portion of the panel at a time, to avoid damaging it. Of course, proceed in reverse for reassembly.
