Replacement of the air filter of the air conditioning system of the Volkswagen Golf 4

To prevent dirt and dust from entering the ventilation system of the Volkswagen Golf, a filter has been installed on the intake, which must be replaced after fifteen thousand kilometers. Once the mileage is reached, we open the front hood, on the passenger side under the windshield we will find the filter to be changed, we remove the gasket sections, with a cross-head screwdriver we unscrew the four screws that secure the cover flange and remove it. We release the frame that holds the filter element and remove it, with a vacuum cleaner we remove any dirt from the housing, insert the new filter, choosing it from the various types on the market and secure it with the frame. Put back the flange securing it with the screws and put back the gasket.
